- Hi all,
-
- I'm having some problems in getting a new multiscanning SVGA monitor to
- work with my Amiga 4000. It's a 15" monitor with all digital controls.
- When I select Multiscan Productivity from my 15kHz monitor, switch off
- and connect my new monitor, I get no display. The monitor seems to go
- into energy saving mode as soom as the Amiga has finished booting up.
-
- The monitor works on a PC, where the frequency is displayed as 38kHz.
- And the monitor from that PC, with manual controls (14") works perfectly
- with the Amiga.
-
- Could it be that my new monitor is stricter with scan frequencies? I've
- ordered a Picasso board now, but would like to know why one monitor
- works and not the other. Could it be something to do with the digital
- controls?
